Liverpool was European Capital of Culture in 2008 and has since emerged as the UK's most vibrant city outside of London. Liverpool's geographic location makes it a perfect destination for a city break with excursions to sleepy English villages or the spectacular mountains of North Wales which are only 90 minutes away. Even London is only a little over 2 hours by train.

“I’m a foreigner, so you spoke slowly, talked more and showed photos to help me. Thank you very much. I couldn’t look for these places without a guide around corners in Liverpool. Locals and Europeans don’t need photos and want emotional and dramatic speech. For me, clear and big photos. I liked the Cavern pub on Mathew Street and Eleanor Rigby Sculptor are the most”.
“We thoroughly enjoyed the walk which was very informative and we learnt a few things about The Beatles we didn’t know. Matthew Street the best part, as it gave a real feel of the Beatles presence. The Cavern Wall of fame we found very interesting and quite unique. It was a great few hours, not only seeing the sites associated with Beatles but also seeing the city of Liverpool with its beautiful buildings its history, culture and it’s regeneration into a thriving tourist attraction with such a history. It’s a walk we would definitely do again”.
“Your talk made me think about the city and how it has changed over the relatively short time since the Beatles grew up there, I specially enjoyed the description of where the NEMS shop used to be and has now been replaced by some fashion chain store. You made me realise that the city where the boys lived must have been different from it is now, so much of the colour and vibrancy of present day Liverpool is in fact probably only due to the effect that the Beatles had on music and on people.I think that only real improvement would have been better weather, but that is obviously outside of your control”.
“A good guide, with a lot of interesting anecdotes. We had a really good time with a nice cup of tea at the end”
“How lucky I am to start my stay in Liverpool with you. I had a very good insight into this very special city.my time has started very well here courtesy of you. You’re a really good guide”.
“I think it was good. Very relaxed, and nice sight seeings and knowledge. I would recommend the service, since its a very good tour”,
” It was great. I wish I had gone to the Beatles museum first before the walk to remind me of the story, the sights during the walk would have been even more significant and interesting. Overall very informative and interesting”.
